Residential Home Services Agreement
This Residential Home Services Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Werkel Home Pte. Ltd. ("Werkel Home"), a company incorporated in Singapore, and the customer ("Customer") requesting services through our platform.
1. Key Definitions
"Services" refers to the housekeeping, laundry, pet care, errands, and home maintenance tasks provided by Werkel Home or its approved service partners. "Service Provider" refers to the individual or partner assigned to perform the requested tasks at the Customer's residence.
2. Service Coverage
Werkel Home agrees to provide the services selected by the Customer during the booking process. The specific details, including duration, frequency, and location, shall be as specified in the booking confirmation sent to the Customer. We reserve the right to engage third-party contractors for specialist maintenance services.
3. Your Responsibilities
The Customer shall provide safe access to the premises at the scheduled time. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all pets are secured if necessary and that the Service Provider is informed of any specific household hazards or fragile items. Necessary utilities (electricity and water) must be provided at the Customer's expense.
4. Rates and Payment
All fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Payment must be made through the approved digital payment methods on the Werkel Home platform. For recurring plans, payments will be automatically processed according to the selected billing cycle. Late payments may result in the suspension of services.
5. Changes and Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service time may incur a cancellation fee. For recurring plans, the Customer may reschedule sessions subject to availability and the notice period defined in our current policy. Werkel Home reserves the right to cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a refund or credit will be offered.
6. Liability Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Werkel Home shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses. Our liability for any damage to property arising directly from the Services is limited to the value of the service fee paid for the specific session, or as covered by our active insurance policy.
7. Legal Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
